The Director of our Inspectorate is Helena McVeigh, a former HMI, who has considerable experience of setting up and managing inspection teams and systems in a number of countries. She has expertise in training and assessing inspectors and an up-to-date knowledge of education and inspections in the UK and around the world.

Our inspectorate board, which oversees the work of the inspectorate, includes Sir Mike Tomlinson, formerly Her Majesty's Chief Inspector with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) in England.
